FRAC Matters

A Church Full of Cheerful Givers

Category: FRAC Matters

Whenever discussing FRAC with others, I relay the many admirable qualities of our people, and up near the top of the list is generosity. I am continually amazed and overjoyed by the cheerful willingness to give to ministry that I observe. In recent years many extraordinary needs have arisen, and our body has been generous at every turn.

May the Lord reward a hundredfold all who have sown so charitably, and may He grant us ever-increasing hearts of love and beneficence.

The Future Is Now

Category: FRAC Matters

For 5 years now, there has been a sign along Centennial Blvd. which read, "Future Home of Front Range Alliance Church." One of the neighbors said to me on Sunday at the ground-breaking ceremony that he wasn't sure it would ever happen. I told him we were beginning to wonder about that also. But it appears that all systems are "go." Today, Krista and I drove by and sure enough there were big tractors driving around. Christmas is the target date for completion. It may be a quick year for FRAC folks.

We Give Thanks

For those of you who didn't see it last week, our own Jay Gupta was interviewed by the Gazette.

Also, things are moving along nicely on the new construction, but we need to continue to seek the favor of the King of the Universe Jesus Christ. Please don't stop praying.

We praise the Lord for moving in the hearts of His people in the recent capital campaign. Please keep this before the Throne of Grace also, both that all who pledged will be able to keep their commitments, and that He would continue to increase our financial resources for the work of ministry.

New Podcast Episode

We did a new episode of the podcast (now called FRAC Report) today. We talked about the summer, the new administrator position, and New Covenant Theology. Give it a listen.

Alliance Champions

The FRAC softball team reigned as champions on Saturday. Granted, it was the loser's bracket, but hey! we won.

And congrats to North Springs Alliance Church, they were the champs of the winner's bracket. Powered by the clutch power hitting of their pastor, Doug Dry, they put a hurtin' on several teams. (I guess if FRAC can't be the best, it's fun to have a fellow Alliance church win, and a fellow pastor be the star, and another 'Doug' to boot.) Way to go, North Springs!

It Is Finished!

IMG_6366It's official, Front Range Alliance Church has a certificate of occupancy for our new building.

We praise You, O God, and rejoice in Your abundant goodness to Your people. Your sovereign and gracious power have been revealed in many ways throughout this project. All glory to Your name! May this physical building be used mightily to build Your Spiritual building. Edify Your people, expand Your kingdom, shine the light of Your glorious Gospel to Colorado Springs and beyond through the ministry of Your people in this place. Amen!
