Orator for Mac OS X 10.2 Jaguar Released! - July 4, 2003

The first version of Orator is released! This free software will save any typed text to an AIFF file using any voice included with Mac OS X.

 

Description
Orator is a small application used to convert typed text into a sound file.

The application is very simple and uses only one window. Type, paste, or drag text to the window, pick a voice and save the text to a file. Orator can also read text aloud.

What You Do with Orator's Files

  • Create custom system beeps!
  • Save articles off the web and transfer to your iPod!
  • Use iTunes to convert the AIFF files to mp3's. Share and stream with your friends!
