Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs runs through November 15, 2005 at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Cal Expo always has several events - check the August schedule for details. The Placerville Speedway has races every Saturday night. Paradise Island is open during August from noon-10 PM (11-10 PM weekends.) The Certified Farmer's Market Association is hosting a new Certified Farmer's Market at Town Center East every Sunday from 8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. And continuing every Thursday is the popular Thursday Farmer's Market at the EDH Community Center through October. Call the market office at 530.622.1900 for information on both as well as their markets in Cameron Park, Placerville and South Lake Tahoe. And the Cappuccino Cruisers host a car show every Wednesday night from 6-9 PM at the Red Robin in Folsom - Special shows are listed on their "Events" page.
