The Rupert Duncan Band at Dillian's
Stompin' with The Rupert Duncan Band at Dillian's
Bar & Grill in Lincoln, California
October 21, 2006

We went to hear some solid country/rock music...
... and to knock back a few beers
The Rupert Duncan Band plays country, rock, even a little blues, all danceable
Rupert writes some of the band's songs. He's recorded two in Nashville.
Larry on lead guitar and vocals
The band recently added a pedal steel guitar; gives it a "fuller" sound
Earl kicking into a drum solo
Bass guitar Dave
Herman (he was kind of spooky) kept an eye on everyone
Chris, our bartender, provided generous pours and a big smile
Courtney, our lovely cocktail waitress, kept the drinks coming
Larry does a mean Hendrix "Red House" ...
He also handles the band's arrangements
The band is working on a CD being produced by Ronnie Montrose
These folks came for some serious partying!
Herman kept a close eye on Debbi & Bruce
Ray plays a wicked "Sleepwalk" on the pedal steel guitar
I took a few candid photos of this gal for her husband without her knowing
Vic was visiting from southern California and had a good time!
My strobe "fried" Michael and Pat in this photo
These gals gave new meaning to the term "gettin' down"
(A former member of the band?)
Rupert was a "runner up" in last year's VH-1 song writing contest!
Larry "rocked this bar" with some country rock favorites
I love to see couples in love. I think Debbi & Bruce danced every slow da...
This is a solid band, worth a listen whenever you can catch them performing
(Another former band member?)
"How 'bout a bass solo next time from Dave?"
"Red House" always brings down the house!
Another shot of Rupert
More of pedal man Ray
Another shot of Earl in the drum kit
Our lovely waitress, Courtney, sings, too!
I think the band should recruit her! She's a good singer and...
... she's a LOT better looking than the guys!
Courtney extricating herself from all the wiring on stage...
Awwww... Aren't they adorable?
A fun evening! And Dillian's is a great bar & grill if you're ever in Lin...
A big tip o' the hat to Chris, our able bartender, and to...
... Courtney for keeping the drinks flowing and adding some class to the joint!
