The mine at Clanwilliam appears
not to have been very
prosperous. One shed consisted of an out of
service CP box car. The explosives storage shed
was more substantial being of brick construction.
Only one siding served the mine. A steam
operated winch sits at the end of the spur. Guild
members wanted John to move it to behind the
track stops, which he apparently agreed to but
never got around to doing.
