Buddhism and Sex (talk & book signing)
All Buddhists vow to avoid “misusing sexuality.” But what does that
really mean? How should contemporary Western Buddhists understand
theprecept against the misuse of sex in a society that is much more
open and free about sexuality than any society in the Buddha’s time? Do
the old restrictions still matter? And how is sex connected with
meditation?
$10-$15 sliding scale requested - no one will be turned away for lack
of funds. Copies of all three of Brad’s books will be available for

An afternoon of meditation and dharma teaching on the vow of "saving
all beings from suffering".

They run a beginner’s group each week. 3x15 minute sits with a talk in
the second one (just 15 minutes). Afterwards there is tea,
introductions, and a period of question and response. I’ll do a short
talk and field questions.

Our regular monthly one-day intensive will feature Brad Warner giving
the Dharma talk and conducting interviews with members.
