I spent a bit of time looking for a good kanji flash card program. Most that I have used/seen were either too specific, using predefined sets of kanji, or general flash card programs which just aren't the best way to do kanji since a kanji has 3 pieces of information (the kanji, reading, & meaning) that you want to learn, while a classic flash card only has 2 sides to it. I'm hoping that this will simplify the process of studying kanji by trying to separate how the kanji information from the way it is displayed. Now you can make one list of words/kanji and review them any way you want without having to reenter the words! Also, I used the same edict format that JEDict uses for its user dictionaries. So saving those and opening them in KanjiCards works great. I've actually had some success with using the "Save As..." command from a set of search results but it isn't perfect, there will be a couple of extra rows and the just kanji entries are not handled correctly. Still a time saver though.
