We are the New Jersey Reading Association, a service organization, dedicated to the improvement of reading instruction and the promotion of the lifetime reading habit.
Our Mission
The Mission of the New Jersey Reading Association is to lead in the promotion of literacy in the state of New Jersey through collaboration, advocacy and professional development.
Our Profile
We are over 1,000 individuals and institutions united in the common belief that reading, the foundation of knowledge, makes a world of difference in everyone's life.
We are represented in 21 counties in New Jersey.
We are a state council of the International Reading Association and an affiliate of the New Jersey Education Association.
