Happy Holidays!!
                 ..................

It goes without saying that this year has flown by!

Michael started Kindergarten, which he loves. He's going gang-busters with reading and has made friends in record (for him!) time.

He also enjoyed playing soccer for the fisrt time. His team was the Red and White Tornadoes! Tom was the team's assistant coach, and Carrie & Mom (& Granny & Granddaddy) were among the most loyal fans!

Michael & Carrie
We have renewed our enthusiasm for cycling with the addition of a child's "stoker kit" which allows Michael to be the second rider on the tandem. Tom & Michael get the tandem, while Carrie rides on the back of Mom's bike in a child's seat.

We joined the Deerfield Presbyterian Church, and on one Sunday in November, Granddaddy Donovan baptized Carrie, Michael sang in the choir, Tom and I became members, and we hosted 20+ family members for Thanksgiving dinner afterwards!
Michael continues to love Legos (especially the Star Wars kits) and drawing and playing with his friends. He's looking forward to taking Karate after winter break. Carrie is using more new words every day. She loves to sing and dance, and she adores her big brother (although she can be quick to say "Go 'way! Time ouk!" when he bugs her!) She is showing more and more signs of independence as she approaches her second birthday.

Kindergarten logistics prompted the decision that Sheri would take another year off from teaching, and she loves every minute! It has allowed her to walk Michael to and from school every day, be there for his Halloween parade, and shuttle him around for play-dates.

Tom continues to find challenges and rewards as the Coord. of Info. Systems for a local school district.
