Mary was
one step away from entering the doorway of the Patron’s
Ball at the Philadelphia Flower Show. It would be a glorious preview night
celebrating the history of Limoge China and formal European Gardens. A behind
the scenes tour would be included – breathtaking flower filled landscapes
and exquisite floral arrangements set in Limoge vases. Mary could hardly
wait. For this special evening, Mary selected a
soft
lavender-blue print taffeta with silk overlay of pale orchid. The short cap
sleeves highlight the femininity of this rare tagged Hoyer floral gown. Underneath
the volumes of fabric is a full hoop skirt, which accentuates the sheer poetic
elegance of this creation. Click
