Clippity Clop |
Clippity clop,
clippity clop, the Amish buggy drove past them. The gentleman
driver tipped his hat
to Mary and her Mother
who had
come
to the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch Country, Lancaster County, for a day of
shopping and history. “ Oh what fun”, Mary exclaimed as
she got a real touch of America’s heritage. Exploring the culture
was just part of the day. There was a quilt shop, and antiquing and
dozens and dozens of dealers. Mary
caught more than a few glances
dressed in a Pendleton wool hounds tooth checked cape coat and slack ensemble.
Her tam hat completed the look. She was voted Best Dressed Visitor that fall
day, and no wonder. Click to play
