Away in a HamperD1: Mama, remember when D2 was born and he slept
in a hamper?
Me: No, He never slept in a hamper. D1: Yes, he did Mama. When he came home from the hospital, you put him in the hamper. Me: Sweetie, we'd never put a baby in a hamper. That's not safe. Dana: No, Mama. I remember. That's what you did. The hamper was right next to your bed. I remember. I suppose that our hamper might look like the pack-n-play to a 2 year old? But no wonder her preschool teachers look at me funny sometimes. ("yep, her...that's the woman that put her son in the hamper after he was born. Really, that's what her daughter says.") What else does she tell them, I wonder? Posted: Thu - August 26, 2004 at 08:54 PM |
