After looking at photos from my childhood --

D: "Mama, is that Auntie Ingrid with the blonde, blonde hair?"
Me: "Yes"
D: "But she doesn't have blonde hair now. It's red."
Me: "True"
D: "I guess the blood went straight to her hair."
