A bit more security around here...

I tend to naively believe that all people are good and have good intentions.

So tonight, when I read about an ABSOLUTE JERK who took a photo of an adorable little girl from her mother's blog and used it for crude purposes on his own blog, I was floored.

It's here . (and it's a great blog, so I recommend reading it regularly!) You need to go down a few entries to read about it - and be sure to read the one on web safety as well.

It got me thinking. Admittedly, I'm already a bit paranoid about the internet. I try hard not to write anything about the kids that I won't mind them reading in a few years. Because this internet thing - it isn't going away. And nothing dies on the internet. Once it's there, you can't exactly erase it. I've stopped using their names. No future prom date will be able to "Google" them and read humorous stories about potty training and the like.

So, I've removed all the pictures of kids and put them on our photo website, which is now password protected. If you want the password, just send an email.
