A Spring Gathering in Houston

Amy Thompson-Steindorf hosted a gathering of Brats at her home in March. Attendees included our own Donna Hendricks-Fontenot, Saib Isa and George Tracy. .
Amy writes:

Donna brought her husband Kenny and Saib brought a girl named Pam who used to be a Brat, (from the 80's I think) a really nice girl. George brought a very large album of baby pictures to show off! My mother Sharon and stepfather Manny rounded out the group.

We started with drinks and hummus for an appetizer.  We all passed around the album George brought of Baby Paul, who is gorgeous by the way!  What a proud Daddy he is!  The baby must look like his wife Teresa :)

My husband Gerald grilled some really excellent burgers for us.  Saib said the burger was his idea of heaven!

We ended up talking about all the stupid things we used to do as kids. One that really stands out, and got the most laughs, was us girls laying down in the alleyway so you guys could jump over us with your dirt bikes off a ramp.  What in the world were we thinking?  Pam told us that our memories of Dhahran are different than hers; I guess things really changed in the 80's.  We pulled out my old yearbooks and had a good laugh at how different we all looked then.  Pam got a big kick out of how much hair Saib had in the ninth grade! It was a lot of fun seeing everyone.  I love getting together with my old pals. I'm especially looking forward to next May; I don't think I will miss this next reunion for anything
