Wed. 3/15Hi every one sorry for the long delay of a web site update. I have been working on a new site, but unfortunately it is not working out so well..., stay tuned for some new features infused into the old page.

Thurs. 11/30:Quick update... We have a show tonight in New Brunswick with our friends The Ambassadors of Reality it should be fun, so come out and party with us. Also check out our shows page for info on our show on Saturday December 10th in New York.

Wed. 11/16:If you missed the show on Sat you missed some entertainment (or so I heard). Cliff filled in for me at the last minute (since I was sick), but the reviews are great. Some jams , some DefTime songs and apparently someone showed up with a Rodes (who just happens to show up with one of them???). Well, either way it was great! Don't forget to come out to the show at Court Tavern to celebrate the beginning of December with us and check out the shows page for more info. Also, while you are surging around visit the pictures page for 4 new sections, including some fun shots of us playing pool with some of our friends at a show in Harrison.

Thurs. 4/21:Some big things have been occurring at DefTime central. We have started booking gigs again with the cd closing in on completion, and WOW!!! the clubs got excited. Check out the shows page for the complete list of shows. Highlights include (but are not limited to) a show every friday and saturday in may (Fridays at Images in Fairview NJ). Court Tavern with Fuse, Daily Grind acoustic nights, and... Grape Street main stage sponsored by Wired 96.5.

Thurs. 4/7:So many, pages, and where to start.... Try the shows page. Lots of new shows, including tomorrow at Harvest Moon, Tent State @ Rutgers, Art House, which is on my birthday (cheep plug for celebrating with me), and Old Bay in July. We have been continuing with the cd after a short delay from a flood, but the vocals are almost done, and we are going to be starting with the electric stuff soon. Drop us a line (via Guest Book or email from the contact and bios page) if you want to see something on the site (other then more pictures of Kev sleeping) or if you just want to say hey.

Thurs. 3/24: So I'm sitting in the studio while James is working on some vocal tracks and I decided to do some serious updates to the music section. There are now 10 (...yes TEN) full live tracks from Mill Hill and Old Bay (James' Birthday show), but none of these songs are on the upcoming CD (we have to keep you excited about something). Also check out Kevin's influences in the bios section, it will shed some light into how he does what he does.

Sat. 3/12: So here at DefTime central there has been a lot of activity. The cd is well underway with the drums, bass and guitar tracks completed. There are many new songs that even the most dedicated deffenestrate time fan has never heard live. We will keep you up to-date with our progress. Also there are some new shows scheduled for Double D's in Morristown, 88 Keys in Woodbridge, Fluffheads in Harrison as well as Old Bay in good old New Brunswick. Also check out new pictures (from the C-Note, Mill Creek and the Studio), as well as updated bio information.

Mon. 1/28: Finally a web site update and what an update it is. First of all thank you everyone who has frequented the C-Note in the past 2 months on Wed and/or Friday's it has been amazing. Tonight will be our last C-Note gig for a bit because... Starting next week will be recording our first full length CD (we will keep you updated on the progress). In other News, DefTime is proud to announce that WE HAVE T-SHIRTS. They are available on sale at shows for $10. For a visual reference pick up today's Home News Tribune and check out Gerry Rosenthal's shirt in the Ground Level Organization interview. Finally we have new updates to the Web site check out the shows (Art House in New Brunswick, Mill Creek Tavern in Philly), and pictures page for updates.

Mon. 1/3: James is going to be celebrating his birthday on the 15th of this month. What better way to celebrate than with our first official NEW BRUNSWICK show since 2004. SAT. JAN 15th, there will be a BIRTHDAY BASH at THE OLD BAY, our friends, The Daily Supplement, will be helping us get James blacked out. Check out the shows page for more details, WE BETTER SEE EVERYONE THERE!!

Sun. 1/2: HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! Sorry it has taken so long to get a update recently, we've been really busy. There are so many things to tell everyone about. DEFTIME will be changing our Residency date at the C-NOTE. Starting this week, we will be playing EVERY FRIDAY @ 11:30!!! We're really excited about this slot and we hope that more people will be able to make it out to a weekend show!!

Sat. 11/28: Thank you everyone who came out to the C-Note last night. Remember all December we will be playing every Wednesday, no cover, $1 shot with every beer, it will be a great time. Also, two shows have been added for January, The Whiskey Bar in Hoboken, NJ and The Old Bay in New Brunswick, NJ, see the shows page for more info.
Finally, we have also added a Guest Book for contacting us and open discussions.

Sat. 11/13: Thanks for the support at the Lion's Den, the turnout was amazing. We would love to see all again on Sat, Nov 27th at the C-Note, as well as every Wed throughout December. Also for all you Philadelphians, defTime will be returning to the city of brotherly love with a performance at Grape Street Pub see the shows page for more info.

Thurs. 10/21: DefTime receives a residency at the C-Note in NYC. Starting in December we will be playing every Wednesday from 11pm - 1am. If you can't wait that long we are going to be doing two warm-up Wednesday's in November, plus other shows in NY/NJ. See the shows page for details. Also, check out the new bios page, some of it is still under construction, but it is still worth seeing.
