| Upon Vlad the Impaler's death, the spirits he
consumed were released. For this I used Z Brush to sculpt approximately
40 spectral heads that were animated in his death explosion. I did the rigging
and texturing. I also did the non-hero animations. |
| The color, transparency, bump, and specularity
maps were created with a mix of Z Brush and Photoshop. |
| For the scene in which Bob Newhart's character
Judson emerges from the Fountain of Youth, I modeled the collision geometry
for the fluid simulation. |
| In the final annex sequence, I lit the pre-existing
geometry provided by Damn Effects, as well as adjust the shaders, and create
multiple holdout sets. I hand painted the pool lighting to match the existing
sets, so it could be animated and manipulated. In addition, I textured and
pre-lit our new "Nessie" element. |
