products that allow you to spy on your competition. Most debuted around 500
dollars and up. Now there's a new product that does almost everything the pricey
"Spying" apps do, but at a fraction of the cost.
In addition, most of the Spying software creators
allowed only a few copies to be sold, so they could hype up the fake scarcity. A
few chumps fell for that... only to find out the spying services quietly ding
you with monthly fees, hidden fees, and little extra charges, that really add up
in a hurry.
On top of that, some of these spying services run apps on their servers... not yours. So who are they really spying on? Hmm? How do you know they're not mining your data? How do you know they're not making you do the work, spying on you, and competing with you? How would you know? Pretty scary... isn't it? Ok... you can relax now. The new AdSpy Pro has come to the rescue. It runs on your server. You're in total control. There are no hidden fees. It has tons of features and it's easy to use. It allows you to monitor what your competitors are doing in any market. You'll see which ads are consistently good performers. You can use this intelligence, to create your own successful ad campaigns, without the steep learning curve. Having a good PPC ad is half the battle. You'll still need to create landing pages, and test the different design elements of your offer. But if you could get a 50% head start... would you take it? The AdSpy software costs less than a dinner for two. And you can dominate any PPC market that you choose. Wouldn't that be great? Do yourself a favor. website? Want to earn revenue from it? I'm not talking the pittance you
currently receive from pay per click ads.
![]() If
you own the phpBB discussion board, you can use the Forum AdManager to create ad
slots on every page. You then sell the space to advertisers. You charge them for
placing ads on your forum and earn a passive
income.
You can even use your own ads. If you have any unsold ad inventory, you can join affiliate programs, or CPA programs, and feature any type of products that you want. This new tool removes all of the administration. It handles all the laborious tasks. As a forum owner, you set the advertising rates, after that... there is nothing left for you to do. It handles the payments. Provides all the stats. Manages the ads. It even displays your own default ads if a paid ad is not available. The amount you earn, is in direct proportion to the size of your forum. All you need are three things: 1) A Unix / Linux host which supports Cron jobs. 2) A Business or Premier Paypal Account to receive payments. 3) A desire to earn passive income from your phpBB traffic. That's all there is to it. You could be up and running in less than five minutes. Forum AdManager is a free download. They install it for you. And if your revenues are anything like theirs, you could be earning up to 100 times more than you presently do with your PPC ads. Get the Forum AdManager ==> http://www.cdzn.com/fam Stop gathering pennies and start making dollars. Get Forum AdManager today, and start earning passive income from your phpBB traffic. Your search engine positioning, your PPC campaigns and all the work you've put
into building your business are just too precious to risk.
Recently I saw an AdSense product that encourages
you to steal your competitors ads, sell the same products as they do, and try to
knock them out of the game. Now they plan on releasing software to automate the
process.
Hey... They may just be ads, but they are protected by copyright. Steal an ad and you could get sued... for all you gained and the damages. Fun eh? Your host can shut off your site without notice. Your ad campaign dropped. You or your company can get banned from AdWords. But gee, they never mentioned any of that fun stuff in the course did they? Another one is an article slicer dicer. They say that it can make multiple versions of the same article, so you can submit them to the article directories... That is so wrong. It's article spam, pure and simple. Many of the smaller article directories have gone out of business, due to the volume of automated article submissions. This product encourages and compounds the problem. Remember how nofollow links were added to blog comments. Then the social bookmarking sites. Then Wikipedia? Any time you aim to mine backlinks and PageRank, the plan usually backfires and fails. It would be very simple to add nofollow to all the article directory sites. It's even simpler to discount the links completely. In the future, you can expect the search engines to do just that... ignore multiple links to your site from the same article directory or RSS newsfeed sources. In fact, on two of my test sites, there's evidence to suggest that it's already taking place. One site is heavy with articles and excerpts from a leading article directory. The other is heavy with RSS and newsfeeds. Both sites used a combo of manual and random auto posting. Both started out well. Both got up to about PR4. Then after about six months, they suddenly died with a PR0. Not banned... but PR zero. The consensus? Google is finding and blowing away sites that get the majority of their content from press releases, newsfeeds and popular article sites. Why? Because it's all duplicate content. The robots figure it out. The PageRank gets stripped and the site is unceremoniously dumped into the supplemental index. So stay away from anything that makes wild promises. They might sing a great tune, use all popular buzzwords like "LSI" and the "long tail" of the search. But in reality, robots that automate the process of writing, submitting, link building, and PR harvesting, don't have the same quality, emotions, or quirkiness of humans. They tend to get found out, filtered out, and outright banned, by smarter robots designed by the very smart people who run the search engines. Don't get me wrong, I'm in favor of things like Dr. Andy Williams Site Builder, and software that can assist you with site building tasks and modifying articles. But what's just plain wrong and silly, is to think that you can dump some keywords into a robot, and have it run without getting caught. Those days - thank goodness - are largely behind us. So next time someone tells you their software slices and dices. It does the thinking and the submitting... tell 'em to keep it. Your search engine positioning, your PPC campaigns and all the work you've put into building your business, your trust and your reputation, are just too precious to risk, on the latest slicing dicing machine. look-ups.
Start by slowly typing a keyword into the box, and
it uses predictive entry to guess what you're typing. It shows at a glance if
the domain name is available or not. Red means taken, green means
available.
This auto completion of domain name look-ups is much faster than using a registrar to search for names. It also shows names that are related to your root keyword that you may not have thought of otherwise. Take it for a spin and have some fun while searching for domain names. now, which leaves the entire internet marketing community asking... is the Yahoo
owned Overture Search Term Suggestion Tool a thing of the past?
There is an article over at DM News, where the
author claims to have spoken with the staff at Yahoo. The exact quote from the
story reads, "On a call with some Yahoo employees, my greatest fears were
confirmed: The tool would no longer be supported in the near
future."
Here's the whole story: http://www.dmnews.com/cms/dm-news/search-marketing/39752.html If you try the link, even from Yahoo's site, the tool is usually down. A message comes back that the server stopped responding or timed out. Here's the tool: http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion I did manage to access the tool once today, but it did not provide any results. Who knows, maybe they have it running on an old Pentium II in the basement now. One thing is for sure, the keyword tools that rely on Overture have stopped working. It's creating a lot of concern and virtual panic in the community. I was on the phone with Jim Morris of NicheBot, and he's getting hammered with pleas for help. Jim said, "It's breaking news if you ask me, because it completely demolishes every desktop keyword tool out there. None of them will work. In fact, I've got the owners of several keyword tools at my doorstep, begging me to help them out of their situations." In addition, Jim suggested that, "There will now be a huge and sudden shift. A whole new paradigm in thinking of keyword research in the free sense any more. No longer having that Overture tool to batter, there is now a complete dependence on some subscription." Especially true if you want accurate keyword research that's not skewed by position-checking robots. So if your keyword tool is broken, and you've been waiting to try out Nichebot, now is the perfect time. All it takes is one dollar to try it out, and if you like it, you can subscribe. Any credits that you don't use up are rolled over into the next month. higher, you may want to do so right away. It is immune to a security flaw that
plagues versions 7 and earlier. If your computer is too old to update to version
8, Adobe recommends a full install of the patched version 7.
According to Adobe, ""The flaw let hackers use a
technique known as cross-site scripting, in which they blend malicious
JavaScript with a link to a Portable Document Format (PDF) file on a Web site to
hijack a user's computer.
The problem does not affect PDF documents themselves, and can only be used when someone attempts to retrieve a PDF document by clicking a malicious link, such as one a spammer might embed in unwanted e-mail."" So please note, there are no security issues with the actual PDF files. According to my hosting company MaxNetHosting.com, "To be a risk, it means that a hacker would have to hack a hosting account and inject the javascript code into the URL of the PDF file. They told me that they, ""Have a whole arsenal of security measures on the MaxNet servers, but most hacks are at application level, due to security holes in the PHP code. Hackers can exploit those holes to do a lot of things."" But of course someone could download a PDF, and then upload it to their server and put the nasty code in the link. So as always, don't open attachments, or PDF files from strangers... or even from people you know, unless you were expecting something, as it's very easy to spoof an email address. The easiest and safest thing to do, is to upgrade to the latest version of Acrobat Reader and Acrobat Professional, for those of you owning the full app, including Acrobat Exchange and the Distiller. Yes, I got bombarded with offers to buy Competition
Dominator and filed them all under the "General" category for December 2006. It
usually takes a referral from someone I know and trust to make me take
action.
Usually I'll ask for a comp copy and then poke at it. If it's really good I might review it, or make a recommendation for my readers. But this time I did something completely different. I bought it right away. When I saw Dr. Andy Williams promote something mid-week, I knew it had to be good, and I didn't need to question the source. Right now, I don't even have a Windblows PC here to test the software, or install it, or even start using it, how weird is that. Buy something I can't even use. Yes, because Dr. Andy told me to get it. And that's how much I trust him. Visit Dr. Williams blog to find out how he uses the Dominator in his PPC research. It's in issue 145 of his newsletter. Automate WordPress Comments ==> http://www.cdzn.com/wpc Posted at 07:27 PM Sun - September 17, 2006User Generated Content Made EasyBack in the summer of 1999, the
closing story in my first ebook - Nothing but
'Net - foretold the future of
the internet. The way to make a site a destination, an authority beyond all
others... was to get "user generated content."
We tried it with a fishing site, where people would
enter info about the lake, time of year, weather conditions, the bait they used
and other details. It cost over five thousand dollars to develop the script and
it still needed work. We eventually sold it to a recruiting company for their
jobs database to recoup our
investment.
Fast forward a couple of years later and Amazon started adding "customer reviews" to their site. Sites like MySpace and YouTube became sensations. Wikipedia took it to the max, by making a user generated encyclopedia. Only problem is, these scripts are super expensive to develop, and hard to maintain. Fast forward to today, and finally... with Robert Blackstone's "Instant Site Comments" there's a solution for the rest of us. Now anyone can add user generated content to their web pages. These are not the same as comments for your blog. It's a way for visitors to leave their comments, add content to your static web pages, and make them more dynamic. It's an excellent feedback mechanism for anything that you write. Or, if you use articles on your site, your readers can comment on them as well. Come to think of it, you can use this tool to let your readers practically build your entire site. ;-) So long as you have traffic coming to your site, Instant Site Comments is an excellent way to get fresh content and get your users involved in building a community that truly belongs to them. Then once you have a community, you have a sticky site, one where visitors return to time and again. Robert doesn't promise to make you a tycoon. But I can tell you from experience, the more time people spend on a site, the more they trust it, and the people behind it. The more they trust a site, the more likely they are to purchase from it and feel confident about those purchases. And if you need a case study, just ask Amazon. After years of losing money, they're finally profitable. Thanks largely to their user generated content. Are you ready for User Generated Content? ==> http://www.cdzn.com/isc Posted at 12:07 PM |
