Article Underground to the Rescue


Hi Michael, I wanted to ask you about Article Underground; is it worth joining? I am always wary of PLR (private label rights) sites due to the fact any article used more than once is duplicate content. ~ AC

Yes, the Article Underground (AU) is great. It's been a real blessing to have all that instant content for use on my affiliate revenue sites.

Sometimes I just put up the articles until I have time to write something myself. Other times when I don't know anything about the topic, I won't bother writing anything, the articles are good enough.

Just yesterday I started a site about jerky... the meat snack. I did a grep recursive search on my articles folder and sure enough found over a half dozen... weird that there would be any. But now I have instant content on my site.

Besides, there's only 350 people with access to the same articles as you. With the AU giving us 400 articles per month, there's little chance of another person having the exact same articles on their site.

And of course there is a way to remove all worry about dupe content on your affiliate revenue sites. Just modify the articles a little bit with a new opening statement, headline, byline, title, and do a few word swaps with search and replace. Takes like five to ten minutes per article.

Then something else I do, is put a unique tracking code at the bottom of each article. I use small visible text at the bottom of the page which says, Article IMS#105061101.

That code will let me keep track of what articles I've used. When and if they get spidered and indexed. And alert me if someone has plagiarized my text. It also helps the article look unique.

And finally, one of the best things about the AU is the network of 22 blogs. Every time you add a page to any minisite in your mininet, you announce it on a few of the blogs. It's great for incoming links, link popularity, and getting the spiders to visit your sites.

So yes, Article Underground is one of the best investments and tools, that an affiliate marketer can have.
