Are You Ready to Build an Empire?

Question: I enjoyed issue #107, where you talked about list building and finding a niche. Speaking of niches, are you climbing aboard Jack Smithson's "Build-an-Empire?" I think it's going to cost $1,000... What do you think of it?

Answer: I think you mean Paul Smithson... he's a really good guy. I helped him launch the XSite Pro Software, which my friends and I use on a daily basis.

I'm certainly going to help him get the word out. I'll be posting to my blog and sending a newsletter on Sunday that features his Empire package. It's an excellent opportunity for someone that wants a plug-and-play business online, with none of the technical headaches.

There are now three PDFs you can read, if you'd like to learn more about it. Just right click on them and download them to your hard drive. You can use Adobe Acrobat to print them out, or read them on-screen.

Build an Empire Part #1 - Overview.pdf

Build an Empire Part #2 - An Introduction to SellDirect.pdf

Build an Empire Part #3 - An Introduction to ContentDirect.pdf

I haven't read all three PDF files yet, but I know Paul Smithson. I also know that the audiobook industry is over its technical hump, and is pretty mainstream and growing. After three years of development, I'm sure Paul will provide a top-notch product.

I'm certainly ready for it... I have three iPods and listen to audiobooks and podcasts while I'm in the car, or out for a walk. I always like learning... taking my downtime and turning it into learning time. It doesn't take much effort to listen while walking.

And to coin the old adage... it's what you know... and who you know, that will determine your social circle and shape your success... or failure. I love pumping my neurons until they sweat info. (I'm sure one day my brain will explode and there'll be zeros and ones all over the place. ;-)

I really like the "Build an Empire" idea. I see the return on the investment to be very high.

I'd probably get if for myself if I didn't have so much other stuff going on at the moment. But I do plan on buying a copy for my family, so they can use it as a revenue stream.

And as for the 999 other lucky people that do manage to get it, I'm sure they won't feel any remorse... just the sweet sounds of success.
