my next appointment. If you’d be kind
enough to extinguish the vehicle, I can

pegs into roundholes. That’s supposed to
be impossible.

Donovan has taken both of Thalia’s hands in his, and is
holding them up to his mouth, as if to kiss them. He’s
finally making eye contact. She’s amused and flirtatious.

DONOVAN
Makes you think, though. Doesn’t it?

THALIA
Makes me think you enjoy being contrary.

Close, faces only. They’re just about to kiss.
