Since I got this suit of alien battle
armor, I’ve been usingit like a hammer

Clearly, there’s more to it than that.

Case in point: The armor’s developed a
personality, a database replicating the
thoughts and memories of Rand Banion, the
monkey who wore this suit before I got it.

RAND CAPTION
We’re entering Denver airspace, should I
plot a course anywhere in particular, or
should we just fly right through it?

Which doesn’t make him any less “helpful”.

Longer on X-O, still in flight.

X-O CAPTION
For me, Rand’s “resurrection” isn’t much
more than an irritation. For others, it’s
a lot more serious.

Panel 2
Close on X-O’s face. The reflection is dissolving into a
flashback image of TISH, dressed as she was last issue.

X-O CAPTION
Tish Boudreauis a bio-feedback expert
attached to the X-O project.

X-O CAPTION
She alsoused to be attached to Rand
Banion.

Panel 3
FLASHBACK PANEL. Picking up the image from X-O’s
faceplate. Tish is speaking forcefully to a taken aback
DONOVAN (dressed as in last issue). This is similar to
page 22, panel 5 last issue but I’d probably crop out
RENATA, if it’s possible.

X-O CAPTION
That’s a snide way of saying that she and
the dead man were an item.

TISH
Rand’s alive, Donovan. I sawhim.

Panel 4
Tish pokes an accusing finger into Donovan’s chest. She’s
reaching behind her for something tucked into her skirt at
the small of her back. RENATA is definitely visible now,
if she hasn’t been before.
