I intend to add new stuff here regularly. If you know of a site that should be linked and isn't, tell me about it. By the way, most of the big logos on this page are also active links. Try them out.

Milestone Comics E-group

We've set up an on-line discussion group for Milestone and related topics (including the new Static Shock comic book's letters column), and it's growing like mad! But there have been some changes recently. Those yahoos at Yahoo have bought "E-Groups," the former host of the list. Your old membership should work, though. If you aren't already a member, shame on you. Click on the thingy below to join the fun. Current discussions include, What Milestone Comics would you like to see in reprint volumes? What should be the next Milestone comic we revive and why? What are your best ideas to promote Static Shock? I'll also throw in a prize for the fan who comes up with the most interesting new topic thread. So join already!

Milestone Media Home Page

Milestone Media, Inc is the company I co-founded several years ago to protect the creative content of The Dakota Universe, an interlocking series of comic book titles that includes the award-winning titles ICON, STATIC and HARDWARE and fan-favorites BLOOD SYNDICATE, XOMBI and DEATHWISH, among others. We've expanded over the years to produce custom publishing, children's books, apparel , publication and package design and creative development. The plan was for our private web site, previously available only to Milestone clients and staffers, to go public. This is taking quite a bit longer than we thought. As soon as we're ready, the link below will take you there.

The Milestone Rave

The Milestone Rave is my favorite unofficial Milestone fan site. It's comprehensive, with opinionated reviews, lots of art, character profiles and a set of great links.

Join The Milestone Mailing List

Join the Milestone Mailing List for conversation about our comics, characters, creative alumni and more. Although currently dormant, this is often the first place to break Milestone news and rumors. And some very exciting news is in the pipeline, even as we speak. Send en E-mail to - majordomo@mlists.com with a body of :

Mark Bright Home Page

The official home of ICON artist and writer M. D. Bright. He's also painted book covers and pencilled GREEN LANTERN, GI JOE and IRON MAN, among many others. He's currently the artist of fan favorite QUANTUM AND WOODY. His page has tons of art, plus features on how to draw -and break into- comics.

The Official-Looking Mark Bright Cover Page

An index of ICON artist and STATIC writer M. D. Bright's covers. Very few pictures, though...

HEROES #1 preview

Courtesy of Milestone supporter supreme Kynn Bartlett, Milestone's HEROES #1 was, as far as I know, the first comic to have a complete free preview on the Web. Imagine my surprise to discover that four years later, it's still there. Go take a look.

African Americans On The Net Webring

I've joined a webring in the hope of reaching some people who probably don't know anything about comics, Milestone, or even -dare I think it?- me. Still, Milestone's wonderful experiences at Black Expos over the years (we once sold 13,000 comics at the New York Black Expo in less than three days. We would have done even better if we hadn't run out!) seems to point to a vast, untapped audience out there who are interested in seeing Heroes of Color. Let's hook up with them. Meanwhile, regular visitors to my site should use the links below to explore a myriad of African American content (including a couple other comics you might not know about).

The Master List Can help you find a comic book or trading card specialty store near you. This is a fantastic resource.
