An...unusual sight. ETRIGAN is grinning and facing the
"camera," his right hand outstretched to shake hands
with the viewer. Etrigan is dressed in a businessman's
power suit and tie. Titles and credits and the like go
on this page, so leave room.

A caring soul has heard your cries of
angry discontent.

Continuing from splash. Etrigan is vigorously shaking
the hand of an UNEMPLOYED GUY. The man is one of a
seemingly endless line of similarly luckless guys

CAPTION
"...and so, in an unemployment office
in recession-plagued Detroit, Michigan,
an unusual new candidate announced his
run for the Presidency of the United
States of America."

Panel 2
Etrigan is waving a little American flag as he shakes
hands with a 2ND UNEMPLOYED GUY.

CAPTION
"The candidate, an alleged demon from
Hell, is running as a Republican.

BOTTOM CAPTION
Etrigan cites both disappointment with
President Bush's policies and a "desire
for immense personal power" as his
motivations.

Panel 3
Etrigan grins as he juggles three FIREBALLS.

CAPTION
"As he entertained potential voters,
Etrigan outlined his economic recovery
plan and vehemently denyed published
reports that his campaign is an
elaborate hoax."
