Got
up around 11 when the doorbell was ringing and who should it be but Ellen Ahern
and the baby. She stayed about 2 hours and then left. In the meantime Eleanor
Lach called and wanted me to come to her house tomorrow but I told her I
couldn’t make it. Then I cleaned my bedroom and worked on my rug in the
evening. Rose and I started the Metrical diet today. I weighed 131 on my scale.
I had it last night for supper and I think tastes awful and it’s gassy.
I’m glad Rose is on it though.
