November 16

Wednesday

Met J as I was going into the cafeteria and I said it was cold. He laughed and reminded me that I liked each season as it came. He sat facing me then and was by Pat’s watching me when I came to my place. He sat on the side at break but had to sit in the back at lunch. And he sat in back of me at last break. They broke up 502 today and Joey got laid off. When we left work he was nowhere around and then he came from the parking lot. I have to laugh the way Theresa always makes sure she’s on the outside so she walks next to him. I asked him to save my sanity and tell me how to make the jig stop shrieking and he laughed. Then I commented on his red shirt and told him he’d make a good Santa Claus. He said he’d grow a white beard and I said I didn’t think I’d like him in that. Then I’m not sure because I didn’t quite hear him but I think he said he wouldn’t just for me. After that he was pretty quiet and didn’t say much when I left. Worked on my rug and cleaned my bedroom and washed my hair at night.
