Monday

Woke up late today so Dad had to drive me after all to Damen and Congress. Met Katie on the bus and J was sitting facing me when I came in late into the cafeteria. It was a pretty good day though. Zoya is working much better this week and so I got ahead. I had to laugh at J. He sat with his back to me at lunch and then got up so I thought he was leaving. Then he must have got ciggs and came back and faced me. Then in the afternoon Ruth came over and told me that her husband wanted to leave earlier and that meant I couldn’t go. Oh, I could but I don’t want to take the time off and then I felt down in the dumps. I didn’t realize this trip meant that much to me. After work it was 69 degrees and J came out saying boy is it hot. We talked for a while but in the car he was pretty quiet and seemed like he was in a hurry. After work Rose Bysek, Rose and I went to the show. Saw “It Started In Naples,” and “The House of Usher.” Both stunk.
