Started
work an hour later so I didn’t get up until 6:30, and was awfully tired
because I was up during the night. Rose and I went to vote and met Dad so he
drove us and then took me to Damen and Congress. Got there early and J came in
late so he didn’t sit near nor at pass or lunch or last break. I thought,
gee not again. The day went fast though and I saw he was in Pat’s section.
When we left work he was in the car already but when I got in he asked me if I
had a nice weekend. He seemed down in the dumps but he answered my questions
well enough he just didn’t volunteer anything and Theresa kept he goofy
chatter up as ususal. I hope I don’t sound as silly as her. It was raining
and cold again today. When I got home my other wholesale catalog came. Worked on
my rug and we watched the election returns. Rose went to the show. So far
Kennedy is winning.
