Tarantino at the Emmys
Tarantino attended the Emmys Sunday night,
September 18, 2005, but did not win in the category for which he was nominated,
Directing for a Drama
Series, where he lost out to J. J. Abrams,
for directing the pilot to
Lost,
a bittersweet win given that Tarantino is or was a big fan of Abrams's
Alias.
When he was shown it was in close up so I didn't catch who his date was, if
anybody.
