"Woo Hoo" song

I wanted to update the book regarding the song "Woo Hoo."

Time Code: 01:08:44
Information: Song: "Woo Hoo"

The all girl band is heard playing two or three tunes, the most prominent being "Woo Hoo." This mostly instrumental tune was originally recorded by the Rock-A-Teens for the Doran label in August of 1959, and it was quickly re-released by Roulette the next month. Originating out of Richmond, Virginia, the Rock-A-Teens were Vic Mizelle, Bobby "Boo" Walker, Billy Cook, Paul Dixon, Billy Smith, and Eddie Robinson. Since Tarantino's movie has come out the tune has been put to use for Vonage and GM TV commercials.

Here is the lyric:

Whoo, hoo, hoo- hoo- hoo.

(E-Guitar-Solo)

Whoo, hoo, hoo- hoo- hoo (4 times),
Whoo, hoo, Whoo, hoo,
Whoo, hoo- hoo- hoo.

(Drum Solo 2 schemes)

Whoo, hoo, hoo- hoo- hoo...

(Solo acoustic guitar 2 schemes)

Whoo, hoo, hoo- hoo- hoo...

Whoo, hoo, hoo- hoo- hoo (4 times)
Whoo, hoo, Whoo, hoo.

This song also figured in the Austrian TV series Kottan ermittelt, about funny criminals, in a scene in which one of the actors tried to sing the song from lyric cue sheets help up by another, each sheet having a huge woo hoo on it. The tune went on to become a hit in Austria.
