Day 14: Chicago Conclusion --> Detroit Rock City!
After we find that great hotel that had the best oatmeal ever, Stephen and I will part ways in Chicago (above) today -- he to Kansas City, I to Ann Arbor. I will be traveling on Amtrak's Wolverine service. My friend Charles is picking me up at the Ann Arbor station (he lives in Canton), where we'll have dinner, and then he will drive me to somewhere in Detroit where I will catch the Tunnel Bus across the Canadian border to Windsor. This is the only section of my trip that requires the use of a car, and I'm not driving.
We had dinner at Ristorante We in the W Chicago last night and then took the El to catch a movie near the Navy Pier. Back to the hotel, we caught one last drink in the lounge and then melted into our super comfy Hilton bed.
