Day 10: Seattle
We took the Amtrak Cascades service for the 3.5-hour trip from Portland to Seattle this morning. Found a nice restaurant in downtown Seattle (Boka) that was having half-priced wine bottles for lunch. The zipper on my polar fleece jacket broke in Portland, so we crossed the street to the North Face store and bought a new orange windbreaker (they were nice enough to donate the old jacket to the homeless). Walked down to Alaskan Way and caught a free shuttle to the Olympic Sculpture Park. After that, we walked back towards the train station and found a coffee shop with free Wi-Fi to post this.
