Clifford`s music has a sentimental, mysterious and sad element
in his own compositions like Drifted and Ravel`s “Pavanne pour
une Infante Defunte”. Apart from being a good pianist he is
also a good composer. I compare Clifford`s music to a phrase from
Shelley`s 'To
a Skylark' "Our sweetest songs are those that tell of saddest
thought". His music has certainly touched and left a sentimental
feeling in our hearts.
