Longing Dawn (download
mp3)
Music: Clifford Borg and Lyrics Josephine
Scerri.
Recorded: 1998, at Tone Studios.
Published: "Song for Europe 1998".
I`m all alone,
No one there to hold me close,
I feel lost and disillusioned,
No one here to feed my soul.
I know, I lost my faith
Along the way,
And now, there are missing pieces
In this jigsaw of my darkened life,
I feel so cold.
I`ve fallen before and carried on.
And now, I must do the same,
Because I have faith in who I am.
And now I found,
A love for all around me,
And yes I am contended,
I found the answer in myself,
...Longing Dawn.

Sit down here next to me,
I will let you guarantee,
Full company,
You know I give,
All of me, to you.
Listen what I have to say,
it`s the time, lead the way,
Never pretend, its not the end,
Just try to move one step ahead.
Its so important
That you`ll find somebody,
Who is able to listen,
When you are alone.
Getting to know you,
Made me feel so special,
You`ll never regret it,
Hey I am your friend.
Ballad of the Nymphs (download

Music: Clifford Borg, Lyrics: Deo Grech, Violin:
Simon Vella. Vocals: Chiara.
Recorded: Vella Studios, 2000.
Published: "What you want"
I yearn to hear the hymns,
Songs and lullabies,
Of my childhood days, Tonight.
As night flows on I See,
Shadows on the wall,
Dancing to the call of love.
I want to be,
The spirit of the deep,
To sing so free,
The Ballad of the Nymphs,
I long to be,
The queen of Thousand dreams.
Dancing to the free,
Ballad of the Nymphs.
At dash of dusk I hear,
Echoes in the night,
Silent melodies of love,
I want to dance with you,
Shadow of my past,
To the silver tunes of love.
I want to sing this song,
Let it ride the winds,
Reaching high above the skies.
Sing this sweet tune with me,
Feel the warmth it yields,
Sing the Ballad of the Nymphs.

Being close to you I feel,
So safe and so real.
You said don`t love me
You said don`t fall in love
Although we cannot see the light,
The flame is on our hearts.
You said don`t love me
You said don`t fall in love
It is not easy to control
My thoughts when we`re apart,
Sometimes I feel so bad to think
That you can`t feel my light.
Being close to you I feel,
So safe and so real,
I said I wonder why?
We said We gave a life

I`ve had my share before of all that money can buy,
And I can have anything, but it won`t make me happy inside.
And I know that having anything I want is not a real necessity in
life,
For there are so many priceless precious moments that we need to
make us feel
alive.
I`ve had success before and was glorious in the victories I`d
gained
But the joy I then felt was mine alone and I `d wonder if on the
way I`d failed.
And I know that reaching anywhere I Want is not a real necessity
in life,
For there are so many priceless precious moments that we need to
make us feel
Alive.
Life is not having money or success, it is seeing all the good
things that you have.
They mean nothing when you`re living all alone and the loneliness
is tearing you
Apart
Stop and look around you, there`s so much beauty in this world,
such happiness
And joy in simple things
You have to stop and notice, and when you manage all of this,
The world will seem so full of peace,
You will smile a smile from deep within.
Look for Me:
Music: Clifford Borg, Lyrics: Robert Govus
and vocals: Maria Muscat (La Barokka).
Recorded: Pule Studios, 1999. Unpublished.
Look for me
For my mystery
Don`t give up
Don`t stop only where eyes can see
(You`ve got to) search beyond
If you really want
To meet me at the place
Where I linger on
That is the one place
Where you can say
You know me more than my face
That is the right time
Where you can say
You`ve met this soul of mine.
Be prepared
As you may feel scared
When you do
Remember I have said the word
What you`ll meet
May not be so sweet
But that is who I am
If you want to look deep
That is the one place
Where you can say
You know me more than my face
That is the right time
Where you can say
You`ve met this soul of mine
What I say
May not save the day
You might feel an urge
To pack and runaway
Run from me
Go ahead, you`re free
I have found the right place
Where I want to be.
My souls is my home
You cannot change that,
My heart is my own,
You must give it back.
My face is my mask
It can fall apart
You have failed to ask
Who I am at heart.
