"I loved their products so much, I bought the company..." Well, OK, I'm not THAT nuts. But as you can see, I do have two of their bad boys. The red one is usually my main guitar, and generally use the Silhouette as an additional guitar/live backup (for when I pop a string -- long past story that caused this)

I started with one of these guitars back in '92, and I have either never picked up another guitar, or have never felt comfortable with it when I have.

These guitars fit my hand like a glove, and the necks are a tad smaller than most necks (by hundreths of inches, but enough to notice), but they just feel fantastic.

Originally, these necks were created for EVH in his collaboration with Ernie Ball/Music Man by digitally scanning the back of his trusty old Kramer's (everyone remembers the pretty red and white striped geetar right?) neck, picking out the wear and tear, the indents from all of his use, and other types of consistencies. A computerized cutting machine then reproduced every little aspect of that neck onto one of these bad boys. (nifty little things, those new fangled computers...)

I guess you could say I have EVH by the neck...har har har.

As for the Silhouette, I needed to add single coil ability into my arsenal, and the neck produced for this bad boy is not TOO much different than the EVH, at least not in my eyes. It's close enough for comfortability sake to switch between the two of them without issue.
