The ground strap is furnished with the antenna and works well with this installation. RF silicon grease is used to provide a long ground life and reduce rust. A 6 pin molex connector is used to feed the 12v DC motor leads thru the stop light fixture, with 4 pins left for future wiring. The hole is cut by hand with a Rotozip 1/8 in bit on a Dremel tool. GOOP is used seal the connector. The RF connector is TNC feed thru, again using RF silicon grease.
