
Donna Marie McCabe is a composer and performance artist. organizer of the Barbara Deming Memorial Peace Walk, McCabe has expanded her performance arena to the streets. She is known for her "stamina" pieces, which have evolved from 1991 until the present. Her works are known for their social commentary on issues such as prison reform, the labor movement, and nonviolent resistance. McCabe holds an MFA in electronic music and recording media from the Mills College Center for Contemporary Music in Oakland, CA. She received a BA in computer music composition from Clark University and recently completed an MFA in integrated electronic arts at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She is currently working at Apple Computer.
