Race #1 is in the Books!

Thanks to Christine Suter and her band of volunteers for getting the 2009 Series off to a running start. The next race, Comfortably Numb, is scheduled for Saturday, June 27th. Join us for 25 km of climbing, winding, and descending through pristine forest and in front of sweeping views.

The 2009 Sea 2 Sky Trail Running Series:
6 runs through some of the world's most scenic, single-track mountain trails. 

Race organizers from along BC's fabled Sea to Sky Highway band together to provide independently-organized** races, each with its own unique character. There is an event for everyone, with distances ranging from 8 km to 100 miles! Participate in two or more of the 7 events and qualify for Series points.

Prizes for the top Series points scorers at the end of the season are provided by
Peak Centre for Human Performance
, Burnaby.


Contributing to the Community

Races in the Series donate their proceeds to a variety of community causes. In 2008, over $6000 was raised for groups such as Pemberton Jack Rabbits Ski Club, Squamish Food Bank, Squamish Trails Society, Squamish Emergency Program, SORCA, Whistler Search and Rescue, and WORCA.
