It was a fine day for a trail run!
Start - 9 am: Wedgemont
Lake turn-off
(approximately 12 km north of Whistler Village)
2008 marked the 5th annual running of Comfortably Numb. It went off without a hitch and we hope everyone had a great time. The race directors (David Higgins, Kevin Titus, Paul Nicholas, Mitch Sulkers and Scott Pass) couldn't have done this race without all the excellent volunteers and sponsors.
Complete results are now posted.
Stay tuned for finish line photos.
We were a little light on registration this year, if anyone has a suggestion about how we could improve the 2009 registration numbers or make the race better please send me a note. The proceeds this year will again be donated to WORCA (thanks to Chris for clearing the trail out for us) and Whistler Search and Rescue. Thanks again and we will see you next year.

Comfortably
Numb follows a winding 25 km trail through moss
covered forest. Elevation gain is mostly in the first half.
Majority
of the course is undulating trail through forest, with
most of the descent and tricky sections near the finish.
Comfortably Numb is
the 1st event in the 2007
Sea
to Sky Trail Running Series.
