2. Acknowledge - Truth Believe he exists (Trust)

3. Action - Rewards those who seek Him (Obey)

C. Salvation: Acts 2:36-38

1. God’s Part - Grace

a. Sent Christ to shed His blood Hebrews 9:22

b. Required for forgiveness

2. Man’s Part - Faith

a. Acknowledge: Romans 10:9-10

i. Believe - Jesus is Son of God

ii. Confess - Jesus is Lord

b. Action: Acts 2:38

i. Repent – turn from sin: 2 Corinthians 7:11

ii. Baptized – in His Name for forgiveness and the power to overcome sin through the gift of Holy Spirit (Ref. Romans 8:13)

 

CONCLUSION: Our sins have broken our relationship with God. Though grace and the sacrifice of His son, God has given us an opportunity to restore a relationship with Him. Our response is Faith expressing itself in trust and obedience.
