This Is A Test, This Is Only A Test

Apple made some changes to their "homepage" application. Well, they actually killed it. I just wanted to see if this blog will still work or if I need to start something else.

UPDATE: Test successful. I may still start something new, but at least I don't have to.

Reverted To iBlog 1.4.6

I just reverted back to iBlog 1.4.6. There were changes made to version 2 that actually made what I do a little trickier. Hopefully everything has reverted back to normal.

Updated to iBlog 2.0

I have been holding off on doing this upgrade, but it seems like the new version is stable enough, so here I go. Hopefully everything will perform correctly.

Updated to iBlog 1.4.6

iBlog 1.4.6 was just released and I have installed it. I haven't noticed any changes yet. One of the changes listed was podcast support, but I'm not doing that.

Added Links To The Navigation On The Right

I finally found instructions on how to set up a "blog roll" on the side of the page with all of the other navigation links. I have now deleted the category "Links" since all of my favorite links are now going to be displayed on the page.

Updated to iBlog 1.4.5

Well, I've got the new Haloscan comments working and the layout is they way I want it and this morning iBlog released an update to 1.4.5 so it looks like everything is working okay now.

Comments Are Back

I've got comments working again. All of the old comments appear to be lost forever. I need to do some layout work with the new comments, but at least there are comments again.

Dot Mac and iDisk Issues

Hello.

I just wanted to do a test posting to make sure everything was behaving correctly. The latest Mac OS Update did something really wacky to my Dot Mac and iDisk synchronizing. It seems to be repaired now.

Updated to iBlog 1.4.1

Updated and installed version 1.4.1 of iBlog this morning. I'm not too sure what is going to be different. Everything seems to be fine.

UPDATE: Well, one thing changed that I don't like. It doesn't seem to be publishing instantly anymore like it did on 1.4.0.

UPDATE 2: Hmm... The previous update published instantly, so maybe it was just a fluke.

Updated and installed version 1.4.0 of iBlog this morning. Everything seems to be fine, so far.

UPDATE: Well, I just discovered one improvement. The changes posted immediately. It used to take a few minutes before they showed up on the website.

Okay, they're back.

Well, the comments have mysteriously reappeared. I don't know what happened and I haven't had the time to investigate and now it doesn't matter. Oh, well.

What happened to the comments?

I just noticed that my "comments" links are gone from all of the blog entries.

I don't know what happened, and it may take a couple days before I have the time to figure it out.

What a drag.
