I am just a beginning astro imager and as I blindly run headfirst into this field full of pits, brick walls and landmines, my experiences may be a map by which one can be guided through this complicated hobby. Some of the time I get lucky and an image turns out well. Eventually I will get lucky many times in a row and it may start to resemble skill.
