Welcome to Rock River Valley Pantry.
We are a community based organization founded in 1974. We are citizens who understand there is hunger in our community. We are citizens, like you, who can't accept that people in Rockford, whole families, go to bed hungry.
Every year, we collect and inspect, sort and bag food to provide nearly 375,000 balanced meals. Each food bag contains at least six meals for each person in the family, and through our Choice Pantry option another days worth of food is provided.

Time for the 7th annual Empty Bowls, Full Glasses event, 6:00pm at Francesco's! A gourmet meal paired with special wines, and a silent art auction of beautifully crafted artwork featuring a bowl. All proceeds benefit the RRVP. Reservations must be made by Friday, October 14th, 2011. You may use the Pay Now button to purchase tickets online via Paypal.com or contact the Pantry to purchase by all other means.
Antiques on East State fight hunger with appraisal days!
Have an item that you’d like appraised? Bring a non-perishable donation with you for a free appraisal to the Antiques on East State store, located at 5411 E State St., Rockford from 10-4pm on Oct. 29th. and help feed the hungry! Canned vegetables and fruit, pasta, rice, cereal, tuna, and skillet meals are all helpful!
