Hello and thanks for visiting!
I received my first aquarium in 3rd grade. It was a 20 long that my parents purchased. From that time, aquarium setups have been one of my hobbies. Before graduating from high school in 1991, I had up to 8-20s in one bedroom. In 2001, I have had as many as 8 aquariums setup throughout my house. (Thanks to a loving wife!) These included: 2-125 Nature's View, 1-70 Nature's View, 1-55 Nature's View,1-33, 2-20s, and 1-10.
Currently, in 2002, I have downsized to 2-20s in the closet and 2-120 Oceanics (I plan to purchase another 120 by the end of the year.) I have also setup the 33 at my parent's house.
My other hobbies include video editing with Final Cut Pro, creating DVDs with DVD Studio Pro, and other productive tasks on my iBook G3 500 or Power Mac G4 DP 500.
I taught high school (computer science, computer applications, and algebra) for 4 years. Since June 2000, I have been working for Apple - "what I've wanted to do since my first computer".
Why are there plants in my tanks? Because it makes the setup look more natural. "If you are going to have fake plants, then you might as well have fake fish." - The Optimum Aquarium.
