Who We Are The Evanston Dance Ensemble is the performing youth company in residence at the Dance Center Evanston. Under the artistic direction of Béa Rashid, the company produces a mainstage production every year, with works ranging from story ballets, to book adaptations, to stylistically diverse compilations. Since its founding in 1997, the Ensemble specializes in helping young talent grow to new heights through performance, outreach, and comprehensive training. |
Our Mission The mission of the Evanston Dance Ensemble is to bring the artistry and excitement of dance to our community using a corps of dedicated and talented student dancers and to further the training of these young dancers by providing them with an opportunity to work with professional choreographers, designers and guest dancers in high quality theatrical productions.
