More pictures from our first visit to Kyoto with Toshiko. Before we headed up to Tokyo, we couldn't leave before hitting Kyoto one more time to enjoy the picturesque streets and shopping once more.

Yasaka Shrine, or the Gion Shrine. Toshiko said it's bad luck for unwed couples to enter this temple. Gion Toshiko took us to this great tea house with delicious french pastries. On our second trip to Kyoto we saw these firefighters running into an emergency. That's Summerwood Wine from Paso Robles at the subway station! The street where heaven begins ... My favorite shop!
