Welcome and Thank You for
supporting my Write-In candidacy for the Presidency of the
United States of America.
I am, as stated, a Radical. My ideas tend to
be "outside the box", something the candidates from the two
major parties would never give voice to. Too
Hot! Too Alienating! It does
not matter if they are good or bad for the country's
citizens, if they are good or bad for the country itself,
if they are good or bad for the world we live on. Like all
good leadership, they take those who might follow into
unfamiliar territory. Into frightening territory. Perhaps
even into a place where they might be expected to give up
something so that others might get something.
I am also a Centrist. My ideas are not
limited to one theme or another. I allow myself to be a
social "liberal", a fiscal "conservative", and a religious
person with no religious support nor support for religion.
I allow myself to favor "law and order" - as long as it is
just and fair. I allow myself to believe in Unions and in
Single-Payer insurance, in Marriage and in Civil Unions, in
Self Protection and in Personal Freedoms. The Republicans
(the Right) and the Democrats (the Left) would have you
believe that these are each mutually exclusive. They are
not. Not if you are a fair-minded individual willing to
allow your fellow citizens the freedom you yourself would
wish to enjoy.
I am a Constitutionalist. All this means is
that I believe in being guided by the tenets set down in
the US Constitution. These can certainly be difficult
things for the government to abide by. Much of that
document limits the powers of any member of the government.
The President cannot, under that document, have someone
arrested. The government cannot, under that document, hold
a prisoner without charges, without access to an attorney,
without a trial before a jury of their peers. A judge
cannot rule on an issue not before their own court.
Limitations built in for the protection of the
Citizens who might be threatened by an
out-of-control Government. These protections are
under Dire Threat, today. Today, We The
People must defend our Constitution.
