Information and links providing all you need to know
about VR panoramas
Quicktime VR is a technology based on Apple's
Quicktime which allows you to explore places (and objects) as if
you were really there. Using a series of photographic (or computer generated)
images, software stitches these together to create a 360° view. Apple's
Quicktime player then allows the playback of them in a movie window
using a mouse to simulate movement, as if you were actually at the point
of viewing. You can also create hotspots within movies that take you
to URLs or other multimedia objects, or vr scenes that consists of multiple
vr movies within one file.
To
view Quicktime VR movies you must have Quicktime installed on you PC
or Mac.
