David's new "Winter Car"

Since Emily took the Mazda to North Carolina, David purchased a "winter car" so MINI could stay out of the salt. David chose a 2003 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor model for its durability. The car was in service with the police of Camillus, NY (near Syracuse).

2003 Ford Police Interceptor. Chrome grill is unusual in police versions. No rub strip on the front door to allow room for agency logo. Special Feature - Operational spotlight! Special CVPI Feature - Heavy Duty steel wheels Vinyl split bench seat (unusual for the police version - usually cloth buckets. Padded rear seat! (but interior rear door handles are inoperative) Special Feature - Rubber floor coverings (no carpet) - great for a "winter" car!
