Passing Perfection is Never Replicated
 
The removal of a large pear tree inspired major renovations this Spring. One thing led to another and before I knew it, the whole garden had evolved. I chose rich combinations of leaf color and shape.

This tree face was on the old pear. I laid it in front of the new tree.
The famous "unlabled" blushing Japanese Maple, which replaced the old pear.
The colors of this bed were inspired by the orange "blushing" maple.

Cherub bed seen from the lawn. This is the only semetrical design in my yard.
This small bed lines the walk to the front door. A Japanese "Glow Maple" shines.

This knockout daylily grows along the driveway where little else will.
